The Environmental Youth Alliance experienced significant change in staff, board and community partners over the last 3 years. They needed a strategic plan to help find stability and growth.
Our role was to work with existing board and staff to set out the mission, vision and goals for the organization for the next two years, and to help them clearly mark out next steps for the organization. Through SWOT analysis and stakeholder engagement, we identified four key streams of strategic directions, and worked with the staff and board to refine these to 20 manageable implementation steps.
The two year focus of the strategic plan helped EYA see how they can realistically develop from existing strengths, reconnect with their community, and find stability in a time when non-profits are facing greater and greater challenges.
“Maria brought passion, thoughtful reflection, and sharp insight to the planning process. The Environmental Youth Alliance now has a high quality strategic plan to guide our organization for the next two years. I would highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for strategic planning support.” - Emily Keller, Executive Director, Environmental Youth Alliance
