Ladysmith, like many smaller communities, was facing the challenge of being a turn off from the highway that not enough people were making. We led a 3-hour workshop to explore what was working for the downtown, and what needed to be reconsidered
Outcomes from the workshop included centralizing the commercial zoning would create a more complete downtown and improved infrastructure such as sidewalks were key to encouraging visitors to explore.
