We understand the importance of recreation and parks for health and well-being, community connections, and creating a sense of place. We focus on the best ways to enhance the use of these valuable community resources and offer the best experiences for residents and visitors. We developed a Recreation Programs Review for the City of Surrey, trail wayfinding and interpretive signage (Sunshine Coast Regional District), parks and recreation metrics (City of Vancouver) and and policy for neighbourhood plans (City of Coquitlam).
Our Projects Include:
As the fastest growing municipality in BC, and with two new recreation facilities built in the last 7 years, the city is seeing a surge in recreation use but a limited number of instructors to match the demand.
With the trail half completed, the Sunshine Coast Regional District needed to determine the feasibility of completing the Suncoaster Trail from one ferry terminal to another.
Policy for Neighbourhood Plans, City of Coquitlam
Two neighbourhoods in Coquitlam were undergoing planning updates. We worked with development services and the community to identify ways to improve access to parks and recreation.
